Internet Issues

I'm sorry I haven't posted to the blog. We either have problems connecting to our VPN (china has blogger blocked) or we have problems with the hotel Internet.

Things are going really well. Judah has adjusted beautifully and is such a perfect addition to our family. The 'honeymoon' is over with Benjamin though. If he had his way we would leave his little brother behind and he would be the baby again. We have good times and bad times there but that is to be expected. Judah has really done well with Benjamin but not so much the other way. Now Samuel and Judah have paired up. They hold hands when walking (so darn cute) and will randomly hug each other while playing. And they play very well together. Mercy is just busy mothering (aka bossing) all the boys around. And then tattling when things aren't working in her favor. But she is also very sweet to Judah. I think she may be feeling a bit of a pinch because her and Samuel are usually inseparable but his attention has been directed more towards Judah.

We leave in a day and a half. I will miss being in china but I won't miss living in a hotel room and eating out so much. I really look forward to parenting my kids the old fashion way.

VPN challenges

We have had some challenges with our VPN. And we can't download a new one from here because VPN sites are blocked for obvious reasons. Anyway we are now in Guangzhou and it seems like its working better. At least for now.

Our trip here was easy and uneventful. Which is always good when traveling with kids. Judah did great on the airplane. He seemed to 'wake up' and has started interacting more with us. And also showing more affection. He is such a happy little guy and very easy going. He definitely has his moments, as we all do, but overall he has done absolutely amazing. He is a chatterbox. We really miss having Daniel with us. He would interpret for us but now we have to do sign language and have him take us to what he wants. During lunch today he said "I want more" as clear as can be. Took us by surprise. But his language skills really are advanced for his age so I suspect he will pick up English super fast.
